To celebrate Inclusion at Work Week, Diversity Council Australia (DCA) has announced its 2024-2025 Inclusive Employers and welcomes Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of Australia, as its new Patron.
This year over 60 organisations were recognised as Inclusive Employers across the nation, highlighting their commitment to creating diverse and inclusive workplaces. Offered in partnership with Diversity Atlas, the Inclusive Employer Index enables organisations to comprehensively assess and monitor the state of diversity and inclusion in their workforce.
To make the list, workplaces must demonstrate their commitment to diversity and inclusion by having employees complete an in-depth survey to map the state of inclusion in their organisation. They must also achieve results that exceed national benchmarks on a series of key measures.
"DCA congratulates this year's Inclusive Employers for showing their commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces where employees in all their diversity can thrive," said DCA CEO Lisa Annese.
"DCA's Inclusive Employer Index is an evidence-based process that reveals the state of inclusion and diversity across participating organisations. It's an opportunity to celebrate the companies that are driving real change and inspiring others to follow their lead."
