Police are preparing a report for the coroner after a suspected drowning today.
Just before 3pm today (Tuesday 12 March) emergency services were called to Aldinga Beach after reports a man had been pulled unconscious from the ocean.
CPR was performed at the scene but sadly, the 79-year-old man from Murray Bridge could not be revived.
There are no suspicious circumstances.
