Here's a round-up of some of December events in Strathbogie Shire: please remember to stay COVID-safe and show proof of double vaccination as required.
★ SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4: Ruffy Tablelands Community Centre Christmas Party, from 6pm. Join the community for a Christmas get together and a visit from Santa.
★ SATURDAY, DECEMBER 4 and NEW YEARS' EVE: Nagambie Community Market is on the move to the Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre - 66 Loddings Lane. First Saturday of the month, 9am to 1pm. Commencing December 4, 2021 the monthly market will move lakeside with the ability to expand the number of stalls and spread out along the peninsula.
There will also be a market in conjunction with the New Year's Eve Fireworks on Friday, December 31, 2021.
★ SUNDAY, DECEMBER 5: Nagambie Community Carols returns on Sunday, December 5 at Buckley Park from 5.30pm. Attendees must show evidence of COVID-19 double vaccination and use the QR code or sign in manually.
★ FRIDAY, DECEMBER 10: Binney Street Christmas twilight night shopping, children's activities, and market, 4pm to 9pm, Binney St, Euroa.
★ SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11: Avenel Roaming Rhythms and Twilight Market, 9am to 9pm.
★ FRIDAY 10 - 6pm & SATURDAY 11 December - 2pm Eddie Perfect Live in Avenel
One of Australia's most diverse respect and prolific writer/composer/performers from Playschool to Beetlejuice on Broadway comes to the Avenel Memorial Hall
Five local musicians/bands will play for two hours at four local businesses across Avenel, and the Avenel twilight market: two singers outside Avenel Daily Dose café, 9am to 11 am; a musical group at Harvest Home from 11am to 1:30pm; another musical group at Bank St pizza, 2pm to 4 pm; two bands at the Twilight Market, 5pm to 8pm.
★ SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12: Avenel Roaming Rhythms moves to Fowles winery with musicians performing for two hours.
★ Dec 17, 2021 until Mar 12, 2022 - Summer Splash Series (Shire-wide)
