Today marks the start of Cyber Security Awareness Month (Cyber Month) in Canada. Led by the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) through its Get Cyber Safe campaign, Cyber Month aims to highlight the importance of cyber security to Canadians.
It's no secret that technology continues to change rapidly, and our digital landscape is becoming increasingly complex. This means malicious actors are finding more opportunities to engage in disruptive and costly cyber activity against us.
On an almost daily basis, we hear of an individual or another organization falling victim to a ransomware attack or a new phishing campaign gaining traction. It can be hard to keep up with these evolving threats and the question we often hear is "What can the average Canadian do to protect themselves?"
