Expect delays this Saturday on Wingham Road, east of Cedar Party Road, with single-lane traffic.
Weather permitting, crews will undertake pavement stabilisation works this Saturday, 5 November. As the stretch of road is narrow, only one lane will be open, with stop / go traffic control in place.
"Works are being undertaken on Saturday to reduce the overall impact on road users and will be completed as quickly as possible," said Executive Manager Transport and Engineering, Peter Gesling.
"Wingham Road is a key arterial route. It's important to improve the road's safety and long-term durability.
"We appreciate the community's patience as we complete these works."
The reconstruction of Wingham Road is funded by the NSW Government in association with Council as part of the $100M Road Upgrade package.
