New Shoalhaven Ward 3 Councillor, Denise Kemp will be sworn in ahead of the next Council meeting following her election this week.
The NSW Electoral Commission confirmed Ms Kemp will replace Mitchell Pakes on Council following a recount of votes on 19 November.
Votes were recounted after Mr Pakes announced his resignation ahead of the first meeting of the new Council in October.
Ms Kemp will be sworn in on Tuesday 26 November, prior to the ordinary council meeting.
