Police have taken two people into custody following a break and enter in Manunda overnight, February 21.
At around 3.30am, three teenagers allegedly entered a Manunda address and threatened the occupants with a knife, demanding property.
Investigations indicate two of the boys have allegedly taken the female resident into a separate room, and sexually assaulted her.
The teenagers have then fled on foot.
It is understood The offenders and victims were not known to each other.
Police including officers from the Tactical Crime Squad and Dog Squad were called and arrested two males on McCormack Street at around 4:30am.
A crime scene was declared, and investigations are continuing.
The two boys are in custody and are assisting police with enquiries.
