Four alleged participants of the Descendents Motorcycle Club were arrested for criminal association today.
The Descendents, an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG), is one of the ten declared criminal organisations and it is an offence for participants of a declared criminal organisation to be in a public place with two or more other persons who are also participants in a declared criminal organisation.
It will be alleged the men were together on Saturday 7 October 2023 while travelling to an event at Cherry Gardens, held by another OMCG.
A 29-year-old Virginia man, a 32-year-old Burton man, a 39-year-old Brahma Lodge man and a 51-year-old Seaton man were today arrested and charged with criminal association.
They were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 9 May.
