Detectives Investigate Aggravated Burglary In Oak Park

Merri-Bek Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in Oak Park last week.

It is believed an offender gained entry to the Devereaux Street residence, stealing cash and the garage remote on Monday 10 February about 2am.

The offender exited via the garage and drove off in a Subaru Forester.

It is believed the offender returned to the residence on Wednesday 12 February but were unable to gain entry.

Investigators have released CCTV footage and an image of a man who may be able to assist with enquiries.

The offender is described as Caucasian, about 30-35 years old, 180cm tall with a medium build, unshaven facial hair and wearing a light-coloured hoodie and dark pants.

He also appears to be sporting a neck tattoo and a long rats tail.
