Detectives Investigate Coburg-lary

Merri-bek Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a burglary in Coburg this week.

It is understood an unknown man forced entry to the rear door of a property on Harding Street about 11am on Monday 29 July.

Investigators have been told that the entire house was ransacked and the offender stole jewellery.

A man was seen leaving the property on foot, carrying a blue suitcase about 1.10pm.

Nobody was home at the time of the incident.

Investigators have released images of a male they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

He is described as being of medium build, Caucasian in appearance with black hair, a grey beard, wearing a black "Kiss Chacey" hooded jumper, black tracksuit pants, and grey and white runners.
