Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a collision at Hallam this afternoon, Victoria Police say.
It’s believed a car and truck collided at the intersection of Princes Highway and Princes Domain Drive about 2.55pm.
The passenger of the car, a 24-year-old Hallam woman, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, but is now in a stable condition.
Her baby was delivered by emergency caesarean section and has non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car, a 52-year-old Hallam woman, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The truck driver, a 50-year-old Tynong man, was not injured in the collision.
Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Crime Stoppers.
