Investigators have been told a 41-year-old woman was sitting on a bench at the West Footscray Train Station forecourt when an unknown man approached her about 4.10pm on Wednesday, 12 March.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance and in his late 30's, with dark, balding hair.

He was wearing a black long-sleeve top and black pants.
