Detectives investigate Wycheproof and Donald burglaries

Police are investigating burglaries in two separate regional towns in the states north west early Sunday morning (15 September).

Swan Hill Crime Investigation Unit detectives believe the same two men are responsible for a burglary at a supermarket in Wycheproof and a motorcycle store in Donald.

Officers have been told two men arrived at the Broadway Street supermarket just after 1am in a dual cab utility.

The pair gained entry to the supermarket and stole a number of cigarette packets before fleeing in the ute.

The maroon ute had black rims and a black bulbar and at the time had mud around the tyres and side panel.

Detectives believe the men then attended south west in Donald at a Woods Street motorcycle shop about 2am.

The pair forced entry before stealing the cash register and multiple motorcycle goggles.

Investigators have released images of two people they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.

The first man is described as medium build and wearing a light blue/aqua hooded jumper with fake fur lining around the hood, dark blue work pants with possibly mud around the legs of the pants and camel coloured work boots.

The second man is described as thin and wearing a black hooded jumper with white brand/writing on the upper back, black tracksuit pants with white trim on the left leg above the knee and white trim at the ankle, black socks, green 'Nike' sneakers and gloves.

Anyone who recognizes the pair or with further information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
