Detectives Probe $21K South Yarra Clothing Heist

Stonnington Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following a commercial burglary at a South Yarra clothing store last month.

It is believed that three masked offenders pulled up out the front of a Chapel Street clothing store in a black hatchback about 3am on Monday 10 March.

The three men exited the vehicle and gained entry to the shop by smashing a window.

The trio ransacked the clothing store before loading $21,000 worth of clothing into the vehicle.

No one was inside the store at the time of the burglary.

Detectives have released CCTV of the black vehicle and three males who they believe might be able to assist with their enquiries.

The offenders are perceived to be aged in their late teens or early twenties and were all wearing hoodies and facemasks at the time of the incident.

Investigators wish to speak to anyone that was in the area at the time of the burglary and can provide information pertaining to the black vehicle.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, has CCTV/dashcam footage or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
