Detox Your Home coming to Yarra Ranges

It's time to clean those unwanted household chemicals out of your shed, cupboard and from under your sink to dispose of them safely at Sustainability Victoria's Detox your Home event from 9am-2pm on Saturday, 2 April in Lilydale.

Co-hosted with Yarra Ranges Council, Detox your Home is a free and convenient service for householders to safely dispose of everyday household chemicals such as weedkiller, cleaning chemicals, old cooking oil and cosmetics.

With community safety in mind, Detox your Home events are now drive-through (we cannot accept walk-ins) and contactless, supported by a COVIDSafe plan.

Registration to the event is essential and can be done via Eventbrite

Detox your Home events are staffed by expert chemists who understand how to safely manage household chemicals. Chemicals are safely stored during the event, then transported to a licensed processing facility at the end of the day.
