Devonport City Council is thrilled to announce the launch of The Expo of Everything, a new community event aimed at celebrating the joys of lifelong learning, creativity and making new friends with shared interests.Building on the Devonport community's interest in fostering lifelong learning, The Expo of Everything aims to encourage the local community to explore a wide range of activities, crafts, arts, and hobbies that they may not ordinarily have a chance to discover. Whether it's learning a new skill, finding a new hobby, or joining a club that resonates with personal interests, the expo promises something for all ages.
Local clubs, associations, and groups from diverse fields will showcase their passions, recruit new members, and expand their communities. The expo encourages attendees to connect and collaborate with like-minded individuals, fostering friendships and shared passions.
With family-friendly fun that caters to all age groups, everyone can find something stimulating to enjoy. Participants include a wide range of local organisations such as the Slipstream Circus, Bicycle Network Tasmania, the Tasmanian Bonsai Society, Devonport Stamp and Collectables Club, Find your Way Drama Academy, Devonport Pole Fitness, Spreyton Scouts, Military Medal Collection, Don River Railway, and many more, making it a vibrant community gathering not to be missed.
Devonport Mayor Alison Jarman expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "The Expo is all about celebrating what's special and important to our community. If you're in the mood to try something different, get creative, or just make some new friends, come along and join in the fun."
