All roads lead to Mildura Recreation Reserve for this year's annual New Year's Eve community event.
Relocating from its usual riverfront venue at Nowingi Place to No. 3 Oval due to riverine flooding, the 2022 New Year's Eve event will still feature live music and fireworks among a host of entertainment for all ages.
The free community event kicks off at 6.30pm on Saturday 31 December, and will include a packed program created by event organiser Mildura Entertainment.
There will be a live performance by children's favourite The Kazoos Magic Show, followed by a diverse range of music acts including Brandon Kitt, Revive Band and the All Out 80s Band.
Other features include food trucks, kids activities and light up glow novelties as well as two spectacular fireworks displays – the first at 9.30pm followed by the night's finale at midnight.
Mildura Mayor Liam Wood said the popular event would be a chance for the community to come together and usher in 2023 in style.
"I'm looking forward to joining our community in this celebration, and it's the perfect event at which to do this, featuring a great family atmosphere, with plenty of entertainment on offer," he said.
Mildura Entertainment owner, and New Year's Eve community event organiser David Storer said Sunraysia residents could look forward to a great night out to bring in the New Year.
"The program we've put together has been designed to ensure everyone of all ages can enjoy a fun night out," he said.
"We have some great entertainment lined up and we are also looking forward to bringing the event to a new venue in No. 3 Oval.
"There will be something for everyone, and we're looking forward to putting on a great community event."
