Do you have a green thumb? Join Willoughby City Council for National Tree Day on 28 July, at Muston Park, Chatswood.

Willoughby City Mayor Tanya Taylor encourages everyone to join us for National Tree Day. "It's a fantastic chance to connect with nature and contribute to our city's environmental health," she said.

At 10 am, the planting activities will begin, and the Bushland Team will assist participants in selecting the right native plants to plant. Plus, from 11 am to 2 pm Willoughby City Council will be giving away free native plants so the greening can keep going at home.

Dress for the occasion, wear a hat, covered shoes, long sleeves, pants for planting and bring drinking water. The Bushland Team will cover tools and water for planting activates.

Willoughby City Mayor Tanya Taylor and General Manager Hugh Phemister will join the community in this initiative, highlighting the importance of collective action in nurturing our environment.
