Digital Cooperation Forum Gathers in Amman

What: In cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE) in Jordan, the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), the League of Arab States (LAS), and other partner organizations, are hosting the second edition of the Arab International Digital Cooperation and Development Forum (DCDF2.0), under the theme "Our Vision, Our World, Our Future".

When: From Sunday 23 to Wednesday 26 February 2025.

Where: Intercontinental Hotel Amman, Jordan, and virtually via Zoom (Registration can be done here).

The event will bring together key stakeholders from across the digital landscape, including government officials, policymakers, parliamentarians, private sector leaders, technical experts, academics, and representatives from civil society and international organizations committed to advancing digital cooperation for sustainable development in the Arab region.

It will feature thematic sessions, high-level discussions, interactive tracks, and side events.

Why: DCDF2.0 is a leading platform for digital cooperation in the Arab region and beyond. It aligns with the Global Digital Compact (GDC) and the resolutions of the Arab Telecommunications and Information Council of Ministers (ATICM), following its 27th session in Abu Dhabi on 18 January 2024.

The Forum will foster discussions on digital development priorities and cooperation, at both regional and global levels. It will shape the digital future for the next decade, establish standards, and build consensus on key regional and thematic digital development issues, guided by major global and regional frameworks.
