If you'd like to learn new skills and information to help you with employment, career planning, business start-up and more, then make sure you join the Learning for Earning Festival this month.
Melton City Council is among six councils in Melbourne's west to come together for the free online event, running from Thursday 27 May until Saturday 29 May.
Facilitated by the LearnWest Network, the festival will bring together employers, education providers and potential employees.
City of Melton Mayor Cr Kathy Majdlik encouraged those looking to upskill or change careers to join the event.
"This festival will demonstrate some alternative pathways for learning and highlight several employment growth areas in Melbourne's West," Cr Majdlik said.
"It's a great opportunity for those who are considering upskilling, establishing or changing their career, or starting a business.
"There are events to help with resume writing and business start-ups. Or, you could discover whether a career in Victoria Police, aged care, or dentistry is right for you."
The events will be broken down into six learning streams: learning, skills, career planning and pathways, employment, industry and business, and entrepreneurship.
