Innovative green companies in Atlantic Canada are helping advance strong, sustainable solutions to the world's biggest environmental challenges, contributing to a better, more sustainable future for all Canadians. The Government of Canada is investing to help a Moncton-based eco-friendly laundry detergent manufacturer increase production and expand its product line.
Today, the Honourable Ginette Petitpas Taylor, Minister of Veterans Affairs and
Associate Minister of National Defence and Member of Parliament for Moncton-Riverview-Dieppe, announced total contributions of $1,150,000 for Dizolve Group Corporation (Dizolve). The announcement was made on behalf of the Honourable Gudie Hutchings, Minister of Rural Economic Development and Minister responsible for ACOA.
This support is helping Dizolve implement plant upgrades and purchase new manufacturing equipment to reduce waste, boost production of its biodegradable, dissolvable laundry detergent sheets, and increase capacity to develop new sustainable products.
Today's announcement further demonstrates the Government of Canada's commitment to help Canadian businesses develop sustainable solutions and bring new products to market by creating opportunities to build a greener economy, and setting the stage for a strong, sustainable future.
