Doctor Charged With Sexually Touching Patient in Murray River

Murray River police have charged an Albury doctor after he allegedly sexually touched a patient without consent two years ago.

In November 2022, officers attached to Murray Rivers Police District received a report that a woman had allegedly been sexually groped during a visit to an Albury doctor.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives charged a 48-year-old Albury man with sexually touch another person without consent today (Thursday 18 July 2024).

The man was issued a future court attendance notice to appear before Albury Local Court on Tuesday 27 August 2024.

Investigations are continuing.
