Dog registration renewals were due on 31 July.
Owners who haven't paid their registration fees are urged to do so urgently to avoid a $322 fine.
Almost 25,000 registration renewal notices were sent by email and post in June.
Dog registration fees help pay for:
- Proactive patrols in dog exercise hot spots
- Investigating dog attacks and barking complaints
- Collecting and returning lost pets
- Caring for animals at the Animal Care and Education Centre
- Community events and education
- Providing dog off-leash areas and free poo bags.
If you haven't received your dog registration renewal notice please contact Council as soon as possible on 1300 69 22 47. If you normally receive your registration renewal by email, please check your 'junk / spam' inbox before calling.
If you have moved or your dog is deceased, please contact Council so that the database can be updated.
