Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Daylesford man Donato.
The 76-year-old was last seen at a Hospital Street address about midnight on New Year's Eve.
It's believed he may be travelling in a Volvo V70 station wagon bearing registration SMV 466.
He is known to frequent the Geelong, Morwell and Cheltenham areas.
Police and family hold concerns for Donato as he has a medical condition and his disappearance is out of character.
Investigators have released an image of Donato and a vehicle similar to his in the hope someone recognises them and comes forward.
Donato was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, green shorts and grey runners.
Anyone with information on Donato's whereabouts is urged to contact Daylesford Police Station on 5348 2342.
