Transport for NSW is reminding motorists that double demerit points apply from Friday 30 September until Monday 3 October.
The public holiday is to mark the Labour Day on Monday 3 October. Drivers will see double demerits in place from midnight Thursday 29 September to midnight Monday 3 October.
Driving offences that attract double demerits are:
- speeding offences
- seatbelt offences
- motorcycle helmet offences
- mobile phone offences.
Please drive safely and responsibly on the roads if you are travelling.
