Two people have died in a single-vehicle crash in the state's north west today.
Just after 1.15pm (Thursday 3 January 2019), emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway, Yarrowitch, about 45km east of Walcha, following reports a vehicle towing a caravan had rolled.
Two of the occupants died at the scene.
Emergency services, including officers from Oxley Police District, Fire & Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance and a Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter, are at the scene and are working to free a third person from the vehicle.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation launched into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Oxley Highway has been closed in both directions and will remain closed for a number of hours.
