Alice Robinson Reserve, located at Fingal Avenue, Glenhaven features a new multi-play unit with a slide, climbing wall and net, double swing, quattro springer, rainbow chimes and rubber softfall.
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Peter Gangemi said the upgrades to Ellerman Park were fantastic for the Dural community.
"The new playground at Ellerman Park is exceptional and well located next to Dural Library and Ellerman Child Care Centre."
Councillor Mitchell Blue, a former Chairperson of the Friends of Glenhaven gave his tick of approval for the playground upgrade at Alice Robinson Reserve.
"Glenhaven is home to a lot of young families, so the new playground at Alice Robinson Reserve is perfect for the local community," he said.
Mayor Gangemi said these playground upgrades at Ellerman Park and Alice Robinson Reserve will cater to families in the north of the Shire and beyond.
"We know how much our residents value outdoor spaces to bring their families to socialise, exercise or just enjoy nature."
"It's wonderful to see these playground upgrades revitalise two of our local parks," he added.
Ellerman Park and Alice Robinson Reserve are the latest in the suite of playground upgrades Council has recently completed, including Castlewood Community Reserve, Parsonage Road Reserve and Woodhill Street Reserve in Castle Hill, Coolock Crescent Reserve in Baulkham Hills and Aberdour Village Reserve in Rouse Hill.
