Download your new bin collection calendar now

Bass Coast Shire Council's 2019/20 bin collection calendars are now available.

The calendars can be easily downloaded from www.basscoast.vic.gov.au/waste, or picked up from any of Council's Customer Service Centres, Visitor Information Centres and Transfer Stations, or posted upon request.

There are two calendars available, one for each collection zone.

Zone 1 includes Cape Woolamai, Wimbledon Heights, Ventnor, Newhaven, Rhyll, Smiths Beach, Sunderland Bay, Surf Beach, Sunset Strip, Bass, Grantville, Pioneer Bay, Jam Jerrup, The Gurdies, Lang Lang, Silverleaves and Cowes.

Zone 2 includes Corinella, Coronet Bay, Tenby Point, Dalyston, Harmers Haven, Kilcunda, San Remo, Archies Creek, Cape Paterson, Inverloch, Wonthaggi, South Dudley and Wattle Bank.

Bass Coast Shire Mayor, Cr Brett Tessari, explained that Council has again opted not to post out its bin collection calendars in order to maximise both economic and environmental benefits.

"The large number of holiday homes across the Bass Coast means that the calendars often sit in letterboxes for long periods of time and deteriorate, sometimes becoming unreadable," Cr Tessari said.

"Instead, residents and visitors can easily find this year's calendar online, or if they prefer, pick one up from one of the various locations across the Shire.

"By encouraging the community to download the calendar, it is hoped we can reduce the amount of calendars wasted."

Grab your new bin collection calendar online at www.basscoast.vic.gov.au/waste or from any of Council's Customer Service and Visitor Information Centres, or Transfer Stations.
