The Pharmacy Guild of Australia National President, Professor Trent Twomey, has congratulated Dr Fei Sim on her re-election as National President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.
Professor Twomey welcomed Dr Sim's re-election and said he looked forward to continuing to work closely with her in their roles.
"This is Dr Sim's third consecutive term as National President of the PSA, which is a testament to the hard work and professional nature Dr Sim brings to this role," said Professor Twomey.
"Dr Sim's first term as the PSA's National President was in 2021 and we have seen many changes within community pharmacy in that short time. However, Dr Sim's continuing leadership at the helm of the PSA demonstrates the steadfast and stable nature of the pharmacy profession in Australia," Professor Twomey said.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Dr Sim as we engage in various efforts to ensure community pharmacists across Australia are not adversely impacted by government decisions, as well as advancing pharmacist's ability to offer patients more choice as we work to a fuller scope of practice.
"I am very pleased Dr Sim has been re-elected and am looking forward to building upon the relationship with Dr Sim and the broader PSA team," said Professor Twomey.
