Council has been working with residents to develop 10 year community plans, funded by the Australian Government's Building Better Regions Fund, that reflect the uniqueness and priorities of the eight communities and districts of Maryborough, Bealiba, Carisbrook, Dunolly, Talbot, Majorca, Bet Bet and Timor.
The eight Draft Your Community 2030 Community Plans are now available for residents to view and provide feedback.
Over the last six months, 1,035 community members have contributed to the project via listening posts, a survey, drop-in sessions, roving interviews, focus groups, children's drawing activities and community workshops.
Central Goldfields Shire Chief Administrator Noel Harvey encouraged residents to visit Council's webpage to view the plans.
"Our eight draft community plans are now ready for the community to view and we want you let us know if we have got it right. Thank you to everyone who has so far contributed to these plans."
Feedback is required via an online survey by Wednesday 8 April, 2020.
