A man has had his car immediately impounded and his licence suspended after he crashed into two parked cars in Highton during the week.
It is alleged the driver, a 47-year-old Highton man, was driving erratically on Grantham Drive on Wednesday 11 October about 7.20pm.
Public Order Response Team officers intercepted a grey 2021 Nissan Patrol wagon in Frogmore Way shortly afterwards.
The driver was required to accompany police to the police station for an evidentiary breath test where he provided an alleged reading of 0.317.
His vehicle has been impounded for a period of 30 days with towing costs of $1,027.
The Highton man is expected to be charged on summons with traffic related offences.
