Police have apprehended a high range drink driver in Laverton North in the early hours of this morning.
Officers intercepted the driver on Leakes Road about 1am on 1 June.
The 46-year-old Point Cook man returned a positive breath test at the scene, before an evidentiary breath test return of .219.
The Point Cook man's license was immediately suspended for 12 months and his vehicle was impounded for 28-days.
He will be charged on summons with drink driving offences and will appear in court at a later date.
