A man has had his licence immediately suspended and his car impounded after allegedly driving more than six times over the legal limit in Hampton this afternoon.
Bayside police officers intercepted the driver in the intersection Orlando Street and Beach Road about 2.20pm on 21 September.
The 41-year-old man underwent a preliminary breath test, before accompanying members to a nearby station where he returned an alleged evidentiary result of .319.
The Hampton East man had his car impounded for 30 days at a cost of $999.50 and is expected to be charged on summons with traffic offences.
