A drink driver was caught after blowing two tyres at Walkerville this afternoon.
Police were called to Walkerville Terrace, Walkerville about 2.20pm on Friday 21 June by a report that a vehicle had mounted the kerb and popped two tyres.
The female driver was uninjured; however, she recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.262 - more than five times the legal limit.
The 40-year-old St Peters woman was issued with an instant loss of licence for 12 months and reported for drink driving and driving without due care.
Her vehicle towed from the scene to be impounded for 28 days.
She will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
