Police have reported a man after he was caught drink driving at Park Holme overnight, according to SA Police.
Just after 9.30pm on Thursday 3 June, patrols stopped the man as he was driving along Marion Road and breath tested him.
He returned an alleged blood alcohol reading of 0.335 - almost seven times the legal limit.
The 37-year-old from Ascot Park, was reported for drink driving and issued with an immediate 12 month loss of licence. His car was also impounded for 28 days and he will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Almost 40% of fatal crashes each year involve a driver with a blood alcohol reading above .05%. Drivers are urged to think of the consequences before getting behind the wheel and driving.
