Police arrested man following the death of a teenager in Gladysdale overnight, Victoria Police say.
It’s alleged a 16-year-old boy died when the Nissan utility he was travelling in the back of rolled on private property in Hazeldene Road about 7.30pm last night.
The boy died at the scene.
It’s understood an unconfirmed number of other people were also travelling in the rear of the ute at the time.
Two other people travelling in the ute are believed to have received minor injuries.
The driver, a 20-year-old Gladysdale man, was arrested at the scene and has been released without charge.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating.
