Driver blows 0.155 after crash at Seven Hills

A man will face court after allegedly being caught driving more than three times over the legal limit following a crash in Sydney's west earlier this year.

Just before 11pm on Friday 16 April 2021, emergency services were called to Prospect Highway, Seven Hills, following reports a Kia sedan had mounted a curb and collided with a power box.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command attended the scene and spoke to the driver, a 44-year-old man.

He underwent a roadside breath test, which returned a positive result.

The man was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station, where he underwent a breath analysis and allegedly returned a reading of 0.155, more than three and a half times the legal limit.

He was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice (FCAN) for drive with high-range PCA.

The man is due to appear at Blacktown Local Court on 1 June 2021.

The man's licence was also suspended.
