Driver Dies After Lane Cove North Crash

A woman has died in hospital after a car and bus crashed in Sydney's North Shore last month.

Emergency services were called to Mowbray Road, Lane Cove North, about 12.20pm Thursday 28 November 2024, after a sedan and a bus collided.

The driver of sedan – a 50-year-old woman - was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.

Officers attached to North Shore Police Area Command have been advised the woman died last Friday (6 December 2024).

The driver of the bus, a 49-year-old man, was not injured.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
