Driver Dies In Single Vehicle Crash - South Grafton

A man has died following a single vehicle crash in the state's north.

About 3.20pm today (4 June 2024), emergency services responded to reports after a vehicle crashed into a billboard and a tree along Big River Way, South Grafton.

The driver and sole occupant – a 25-year-old man – died prior to the arrival of emergency services.

Officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District have established a crime scene and are awaiting the arrival of specialist police.

Traffic diversions are currently in place and are expected to remain for a considerable amount of time. Motorists are urged to avoid the area.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
