Driver Located After Thomastown Hit-run

A man has handed himself into police following an alleged hit-run in Thomastown last night.

It is alleged a vehicle collided with a pedestrian on Settlement Road about 11.15pm on 1 June.

The pedestrian, a 36-year-old Hampton Park man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver did not stop at the scene and continued travelling west on Settlement Road.

A 22-year-old Epping man presented himself to a police station this morning and is expected to be interviewed regarding the matter tomorrow.
