Drop-in Centres Open For Storm-affected Residents

Drop-in centres are now open at Cockatoo Community Complex and Worrell Reserve Pavilion in Emerald to support storm-affected residents.

Residents can visit the centres to access power and Wi-Fi, as well as tea and coffee.

The centres will be open from 10am to 6pm until Friday 6 September.

Community members can report a road, tree or drainage issue on Council-managed land that poses an immediate risk to public safety by calling Council's Customer Support team on 1300 787 624 or reporting the issue online at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/report.

Council is experiencing a high volume of requests for assistance and is prioritising works based on community safety and need, with the most urgent works undertaken first

In the interest of public safety, Emerald Lake Park is closed until further notice.

  • Worrell Reserve is located at 402 Belgrave-Gembrook Road, Emerald.
