Two men have been charged with 11 drug-related offences following investigative search warrants conducted across Zilzie on February 6.
Around 10.30pm, Emu Park police executed a search warrant at a San Marino Way address and seized a quantity of cannabis, amphetamine, cash, and drug utensils.
A second warrant was executed at an Amalfi Drive address, resulting in the seizure of a quantity of methylamphetamine, cash, and numerous utensils.
A 54-year-old Zilzie man has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of possessing utensils, possessing tainted property, possessing anything for use in the commission of crime, and permitting use of place.
A 38-year-old Zilzie man has been charged with possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils, possessing tainted property, obstruct police officer, and contravening order about information necessary to access information stored electronically.
Both men are due to appear before Yeppoon Magistrates Court on March 6.
Emu Park Officer in Charge Sergeant Paul McDonnell said the recent investigative work has reduced the supply of dangerous drugs in the area.
"We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to supplying dangerous drugs," Sergeant Paul McDonnell said.
"Our police will continue to proactively curb the supply of these drugs and reduce the harm it does within our community," Sergeant Paul McDonnell said.
