Two men wanted on outstanding arrest warrants have been charged with domestic violence offences.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District commenced an investigation following reports a man allegedly punched a woman in the face at a home in Dubbo about 12pm on Monday 16 September 2024.
Police were also investigating reports the man allegedly took the woman's car, keys and phone on Wednesday 4 September 2024.
Following extensive inquiries, a 23-year-old man was arrested inside a home on Myall Street, Dubbo about 12.30am today (Friday September 2024).
While at the home, police also arrested a 32-year-old man who was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant related to an alleged assault of a woman and damaging the tyres of her car in Moree on Wednesday 14 August 2024.
The men were taken to Dubbo Police Station.
The 23-year-old man was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV), take and drive conveyance without consent of owner and steal from the person.
The 32-year-old man was charged with armed with intent commit indictable offence, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, destroy or damage property (DV) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm.
The men were refused bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court today.
