About 12:55pm, emergency services were advised of a bushfire on Robertson Drive near Clamp Circuit. The fire quickly spread, jumping Cape Naturaliste Road, resulting in evacuations and road closures. Over 40 hectares of bushland was burnt.
Strike Force Vulcan officers attended to conducted a fire scene examination. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
