Edible Green Curtain Workshop: Bayside

Bayside residents will learn how to use edible climbing pants to create an outside green curtain to cover a window in a free one-hour workshop at Bayside Garden Centre.

The hands-on workshop will show residents how to create their very own Green Curtain using edible climbing plants such as cucumber and cherry tomatoes.

This eco-friendly project helps naturally cool indoor spaces while reducing energy costs and provide fresh produce at your fingertips.

Attendees receive a 'Green Curtain Starter Kit' so they can begin building their own home green curtain right away.

The 'Green Curtain Starter Kit' includes a 250mm x 235mm pot packed with gravel, soil and a planted tomato/ cucumber plant, along with 2x garden stakes and netting.
