An 83-year-old man reported missing from Burwood earlier today has been found safe at Ryde.
Officers from Burwood Police Area Command made a public appeal for assistance, and a geo-targeted message was disseminated, as the man lives with a number of serious medical conditions.
Members of the public spotted the man near Ryde and alerted police. He was found a short time later and is safe.
Police thank the media and the community for their assistance.
