Electrify It All

As part of our 2035 community net zero greenhouse gas emissions target, we are supporting residents to make the switch to an all-electric home.

Our Love Bayside, Electrify Everything program includes a Go Electric house plan to help you choose, prioritise and upgrade appliances with electric alternatives when they're due for replacement.

Resident Kylie McIntosh started with solar panels and eventually added electrical appliances, including a hot water pump and induction cooktop, over several years.

"The benefit of electrifying everything is reducing utility costs along with being more environmentally sustainable and reducing our carbon footprint," Kylie said.

"I recommend having a plan. We purchased a reverse cycle air conditioner recently through Love Bayside, Electrify Everything, which was fantastic and easy."

Love Bayside, Electrify Everything features an installation program with access to induction cooktops, reverse cycle air conditioning and hot water heat pumps installed by an accredited and reputable installer.

Sandringham resident Ian transitioned to an all electric at once through Love Bayside, Electrify Everything and felt supported through the experience.

"The induction cooktop design features are appealing and much easier to clean than the gas. The hot water system delivers better pressure and hotter water than with the old gas-boosted system," said Ian.
