An EMERGENCY ALERT has been issued for Lockyer Valley as at 07:29am on Monday, March 10.

This is an EMERGENCY WARNING from Lockyer Valley Regional Council.

TAKE SAFE SHELTER as heavy rainfall and dangerous flooding is occurring in the region over the next number of hours. Until the weather event has passed you are urged to shelter in place if safe to do so.

Warn neighbours, secure belongings and stay off the roads.

For assistance with a life-threatening situation phone Triple Zero (000) immediately.
