An EMERGENCY ALERT message has been issued for Grandchester, Calvert and Lanefield around Western Creek from the IPSWICH CITY COUNCIL.

Council advises WATCH AND ACT - FLASH FLOODING.

Intense rain has occurred, and dangerous flash flooding is possible now and over the next few hours. People who live at Grandchester, Calvert and Lanefield around Western Creek are at risk.

Move to higher ground away from floodwater. DO NOT ENTER FLOODWATERS.
