Police are investigating a house fire at Dernancourt in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services raced to Reids Road, Dernancourt after flames were reported to be coming from the property just after 5.30am on Thursday 2 January.
When crews arrived, the house was engulfed in flames, with lots of smoke coming from the roof.
The occupant of the house was found on the front lawn. He was taken to hospital by ambulance and his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Fire crews continue to battle the blaze. The fire has been prevented from spreading to neighbouring properties.
Fire cause investigators and CIB detectives will attend the scene later today to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.
